Have you ever come across an owner of a dog especially after two or three days of having the new pet in his/her residence? You will find that the concerned individual is always in a jubilant mood due to the new member of the family. But this may appear to be a temporary affair and all may vanish once the dog starts revealing its true character. Well this is very common and does happen with almost each owner. You may face the same reality if you neglect the subject of dog obedience training.

Dog obedience training, to the estimation of experts, is highly important and is more than a necessity. Dogs are found to have lots of bad habits ranging from barking ad infinitum, jumping at visitors out of the blue to lots of others. This is quite enough to bewilder the owner and he may start spending sleepless nights in quest of the fitting process to groom it. This, on the other hand, will plant the seeds of animosity within it of you. The behaviour of the dog will worsen obviously and it may also start disobeying your instructions. In short the whole setup of a congenial relation between the trainer and pet will jeopardize. This is mostly undesirable and for this reason you must concentrate on boosting its energy.

Never retard to praise its performance. This should be done at every time it does well. Try to introduce the concept of reward training at this very juncture. This is quite beneficial. You should prize its excellent performance by means of giving any delicious food. You can also pat on its head and neck at each time it does well. This is also a reward to your pet and it is highly appreciated. But never try to repeat this too often or else it will lose its own significance.

Try to enrich the dog with the simplest and unambiguous commands. They should be such that can be followed by the dog without any dilemma. It is natural that the dog will commit mistakes. But do not penalize your dog for that and instead you should go on repeating the commands over and over again.

This consequential dog obedience training will serve you better.
