Dog Obedience Training - How Much Time Does it Take to Train a Dog?

If you are an admirer of dog and its pranks, it is simply wonderful. I assume that you also enjoy the companionship of your pet dog likewise. But do you think that this is enough to make your dog subservient? If you think so you are seriously mistaken. It is essential to impart the training of obedience on it or it may turn into a rowdy one. Are you hearing for the first time of training obedience to dogs? If you are, you have to travel more in this route than others.

Now the question remains what should be the perfect duration of such training? Well there is no such and it depends on the success of yours. Now you are the owner and the best will be if you can train as a trainer. Don't get afraid since it's a proven fact that he can be the best trainer who is also the owner. The entire process depends on the perseverance and also the endurance of the trainer in addition to the dog and its adaptability. While some dogs due to their own breeds prove to be smarter and more intelligent, there are many who appear to be bovine. If your dog belongs to the second type and is an established bovid, you shall have to devote more time to train it.

But at the same time you shall have to be explicit in observing some conditions. If you confuse the schedule and instead of every day train the dig for once in a week, the training period may go with no sign of stopping. What is more it will never complete! Even if it completes it will be abortive. For this reason from the very beginning you shall have to be perfect in communication. This can be achieved through the exquisite commands. Remember that dogs are mere blackboards. You can write anything on it on your own. Hence the expressions of the dogs, whether they are thriving or faulty, depend on you and your way of training.

Never try to give the commands in two different or harsh tones. For instance the commands "Sit" and "Sit,tttt -tt" may appear same to you. But these are quite enough to perplex the dog. Once it gets confused and fail to do the necessary job it may lose its self-confidence. This may certainly dampen its spirit and the following training will become ineffective. This will simply waste the time and you have to start again from square one. The same will happen if you try to punish it. The dog owners are advised not to punish or admonish the dogs for any fault. The best you can do is to penalize it. You can stop its meal at the noon and it may wonder of the reason. Once it realizes it will repent. This is sufficient. But any physical punishment may make it scared of you or aggressive.

Both of them are negative. You shall have to devote more time consequently to bring it back to normalcy. It will kill more time.
