We get ourselves dogs without thinking that we are in for a surprise; we will have to teach them to behave properly! What we all secretly desire is a dog that comes well-behaved from the cradle. 2. You can also introduce a clicker before giving him the treat, so that the dog associates the clicker with the good behavior and eventually the treat that he will be getting.

3. Many people go for the full fledged training involving the choker or prong collar training. Now people do not really know the use of these sensitive collars as their improper use can also injure the dog badly; due to which many now do not use these collars for training the dogs.

4. Head collars come in many different shapes and sizes for example one of these goes around the dog's nose and around the back on his head. If he misbehaves, what you can do is that you can pull on the leader and redirect his movement. The dog will eventually realize what sort of behavior is he being expected to achieve.

5. An extreme way of training your dog would be the electric collar training method. In this, little electric shocks are given to the poor dog so that he might correct his behavior or stop misbehaving. Now here the dog is reprimanded by giving light electric shocks. The nature of this training, calls for the fact that the trainer should be extremely trained, himself so that he can really imply this way of training.

6. This method of training hugely supports the common understanding that your dog is listening to you. This way of training your dog propagates that if your dog misbehaves just whisper lightly into his ears and he will start behaving himself in matter of time. Now don't expect that any miracle is going to take place out of a sudden but yes it will happen.
