Dog is one of the best companions but you shall have to train it painstakingly or else this form of relationship is not feasible. Dogs in essence are wild animals and for this reason they like other animals prefer to live in packs. They, therefore, make these packs and in each pack there remains an alpha dog. He happens to be the leader and enjoys and executes supremacy in each and every respect. This dictatorial attitude makes others surrender before him. The dogs are familiar with this concept of authority for generations and so cannot accept any other kind of relationship. You shall have to be the leader of your house pack. This is of utmost importance.

You shall have to take serious measures during the command training also. Each and every command in this program should be specific, unambiguous and of one-word. These are necessary so as to make the dog comprehend your commands. The dog can only understand the simplest command. Besides never try to speak in any harsh or different tone. This will disable him to learn well and act also. It will get annoyed and also frustrated consequently. The result will be worse and it will become belligerent or timorous. But in any way you will be the looser. Be aware of all these.
