Puppy Training - Start When They Are Puppies Or it Might Be Too Late

If you want to have a puppy in your house, you can have it surely. Don't follow others in this respect. What do others do? To them purchase of the puppy is the greatest task and consider that the new member will grow on its own. But it's totally impossible. When a puppy is brought at an age of 2-3 months, it is just like any baby of your family. For this adequate care should be taken and also be given the best training.

The puppies are just like blanks sheets of paper. Just as you can write anything in a blank paper likewise the puppy will grow up according to your direction. For all these you should be cautious from the very beginning. Be cautious of the breed and try to consult over it to any exert person. There are some puppies that due to their breeds always remain ahead of others. They can learn, work, react and run faster than others. While there are many who are slow in every respect. So try to be sure from the beginning. The best will be if you can make a routine and act in view of that. But you shall have to follow the routines also. There are many who get interested to follow it in the earlier stages but are found to relax in the later stages. This type of attitude should be discarded. Remember the success of the training depends on the trainer. As already said, the puppy will become as you want.

You shall have to careful of its feeding. In general they are fed for 3-4 times a day. Make your own chart and try to feed it at an interval of 2-3 hours. This is necessary as it forms the basis of coordination between you two. Moreover your congenial attitude helps it to identify you as his friend. Always try to consult with a veterinarian regarding its health. Try to find how other people feed dogs of the same breed and try to use that as a guideline.

Each and every puppy goes through a teething period. For this make it sure what it gets is good for him. The best for it will be the create training. He will eat in the crate what he is given and thus he will bypass the period of chewing shoes, TV remote control device, socks and others. If it seems with all these he is growing up steadily, you shall have to begin the training of commands. These commands are very essential and lots of precautionary measures should be maintained.

You shall have to be patient since this mode of training takes time. For instance if you want to train it in sit" command, it may be that he forgets all in the following day. The same command along with others should be repeated daily. But take care it doesn't get injured. If it happens, he will get scared and may never perform.

Always be congenial. This temperament of yours can train it perfectly.
