This subject, though unknown to many, is a quite old for the dog trainers. The reason is every dog should be given the proper training and that's the key to make it calm and gentle. This will help you to establish your dominance over its consciousness and it will acknowledge you as the chief.

Always remember that you shall have to command it to seat before the meal. It will realize the need to obey your command. Also do not give its preferred foods and apply your own discretion. This also shows your suzerainty.

You can also exploit the situation while you enter your residence. Normally we hug our beloved pets after the absence of the whole day. This is undoubtedly a wrong approach. The general process of hugging makes it affirm that he is the leader. For that reason, try to ignore it intentionally. Chat with the other members. After some time call it and show your love. This again establishes your leadership and dominance.

There is also another feature that you should know. The leaders of the dogs' packs take all decisions on their own. In this context, try to follow the reaction of your pet and establish your own whims. Do just the opposite. If it remains gloomy, try to avoid it. If it remains happy, pretend that you have lots of other things to do. Moreover if it wants to play say no straightly. Watch it till it gets sick of the whole thing and retires. Only then you should give it a call to play. If you find it reluctant then, you must bring it outside forcefully.

You are the pack's leader and can do anything. Train it in this way. It's definitely the best training.
