Dog Behaviour Training - Start When They Are Puppies Or it Might Be Too Late

Do you have a dog in your home? How is it? Is it rowdy and as a result perturbs you throughout the day? It is really unfortunate. Have you ever tried to analyze the reason behind this? You may term it as your destiny or the peculiar attitude of the dog. But it is not so. It is your failure. You should have started the dog behaviour training from the very first day. It is very important and only through it you can groom the dog. The best will be if the training gets started when they are puppies.

When should the training start? This is a general question and comes from the frustrated dog owners. It can be started at a very early stage since the brains of the puppies get matured by then. However to the researches the puppies are able to react when they become old for 12-16 weeks. In this age they remain like backboards and are ready to perform any duty if they are trained in that way. Therefore it is the onus of the owners of dogs to train and the success or failure depends on them only. But since you are dealing with a puppy or simply an animal you shall have to be cautious from the beginning.

First of all you shall have to identify the breed of the dog. It is highly important and the method of training depends on it. Do you know that dogs in reality are wild animals? For this reason they prefer to be in packs under the protection of a single leader. These leaders in the very packs happen to be omnipotent and others bow before him. As a result he gets the position of advantage and control. Furthermore he takes the meal before anyone in the gang and others can eat only after he finishes. This is the magnitude of control. The dogs due to genetic influences are familiar with these. You shall also have to be the same kind of leader and have to behave in that way. The leadership should make the puppy bow before you.

The best and most ideal dog behaviour training can bring out the puppy from the clutch of errant and raucous behaviors. You can do the same by means of the command training. You must begin the command training through the easiest commands. They should be simplest and also unambiguous. Never try to command in two different or harsh tones. This may confuse the puppy, which is a new learner, and also diminish his spirit. This is bound to create negative results and that may go against your intentions.

You are definitely the leader but there should also be affinity between you and the pet. You can express this affinity only through the reward training. It is exceedingly beneficial and establishes the mutual coordination between you two. This is another expression of a respectful relationship and does work in the best manner.

But do apply these when they are young. It may be too difficult to mold an adult dog.
