Dog Obedience Training - Common Mistakes While Training Your Dog

All of us are in the need of obedient and gentle dogs. But seldom we can find these types of dogs. Reason? Most of them are noisy and troublesome but can be transformed if proper trainings are imparted. Now who can be the best trainer? It's certainly you being the owner. Always remember that you can increase the relationship and coordination between you two through training. But there are always two processes of doing things. Amazed? You may be but that's true. In every aspect we have both right and wrong ways to do things.

For this reason it is necessary for you to be cautious from the very beginning. Or else you may end in a sorry state. In fact there are ample examples where the dog owners due to their own wrong conceptions meet tragic ends and the whole training processes get jeopardized. What happen to those dogs? Either they remain in the same situation or become more rowdy. As a result they are sent to dog centers and are never returned. This is certainly one of the most important and severe mistakes. This should not be done in any way.

What other types of mistakes are common? It is found that people, in general, have a common idea. They think it is always better to verbally or physically punish the dog. This will make it obedient, calmed and therefore it will learn to behave. But this is in no way a good and accurate concept. What is more it can lead to the worst! The result of this is nothing except that the dog becomes less inclined to behave properly. The dog may either become scared or aggressive than ever before. But it will never behave in the ideal way.

Again there are many who consider that the severe methods are best to train dogs properly. You shouldn't go for this type of training. If it is done, your passive dog may become aggressive. It, then, may be hard for you to manage. Well, there are in fact many people who consider these as foul methods and never apply. This idea is certainly good and effective. But in the name of evading these people are also found to remain less active and do not concentrate on training. Even if they are found to train, those happen to be futile and have no such strong effect on the dogs. This is a huge blunder and the dogs as a result suffer a great deal. Its necessary to note that non-action is of no use like excessiveness. If not checked, the inactive methods that include conflicting and infrequent training may produce great obstacles.

What do all these indicate? The success of the dog training is highly dependent on the very trainer. There are, in fact, many who train their dogs but in casual modes. While they train one day in a week, they skip two weeks. If they train two days in a row in a week, they train again in the third week.

These mistakes are highly negative.
