Always try to be consistent. As a result always give the same command in the similar way. If you follow the other way and become inconsistent, the dog will fail to go compliant with your direction. It may be that there is no acute difference between "Come" and "C'mon" to you. But this is certainly problematic for the dog. It may get acquainted with the command "Come" through regular training. But in the second case it may remain clueless. This is certainly wrong and may reduce your importance to it.

Never show your indifference to it. If this is shown repeatedly it may become obstinate as a reaction. Definitely you are the leader but you shall have to be careful to its needs. This is done by the dogs' leader in each gang. You must do the same. Both of excessive rearwards and sternness are of no use. On the other hand they may motivate it to behave erratically.

Be a perfect disciplinarian. It also helps immensely.
