Jack Russell Terriers are a great breed of dog. If you have owned one or have been around the tenacious little canine, you know that the owners of these dogs are as furiously devoted to the dog as the dog is to them. The Jack is a dog that is devoted to their owner with an almost human loyalty. If you ever watch 'Animal Planet' or other pet related channels, you will see that the Jack Russell is often best at show in show in many national and world wide dog competitions including dog shows and agility contests. The Jack is the top breed in the United Kingdom and has popularity in the United States that is second to none. The country of India, has even adopted the breed within its upper class as a dog of distinction and culture.
