New Born Pug Puppies For Sale - Be Cautious

By Ian Pennington

If you are thinking about buying a pug puppy, think again. Do you have the time and resources for looking after a puppy? If the idea of buying a puppy is a passing fancy, then let it be just that. Do not succumb to the idea. Bringing up a puppy is an expensive and time-consuming activity. Also, if you have children in your house, bringing a dog is never a good idea. You also have to keep in mind that a puppy is not a toy, but a living creature that needs attention 365 days a year. You need to consider all these factors before actively looking for newborn pug puppies for sale board.

If you have decided to buy a puppy after careful consideration of the above facts, the next thing you should do is finding a good breeder. Finding a good breeder in your locality can appear as impossible as straightening the dog's tail. But careful and persistent search can lead you to a good breeder. One has to bear in mind that not all kennel stores where newborn pug puppies are displayed for sale are genuinely good. Finding a good breeder is important because a good quality pug can only be obtained from these breeders. Good breeders keep the details of the animal such as the history of the pug, details about the dogs from which the pup is bred, and the medication given to the pup.

When you find a reputable breeder, check the surroundings of the kennel and the pups in it. The kennel and the dogs will be impeccably clean if you are dealing with a good breeder. Also, when selecting a pup, always select the one that approaches you when you go near the kennel. If none approaches you, select the pup that is comfortable with your presence and that observes you. The pups that run away from your presence take time to adjust in a new surrounding.

If you cannot find a good breeder in your locality, it is better to buy the pug puppy from the rescue home for dogs. Here dogs that are abandoned by the previous owners are kept for sale. The reasons for abandoning can be numerous: death of the original owner, financial troubles, and the relocation of the owner. The important thing here is that these dogs had been staying in a house. So, such dogs tend to adjust well in a new house.

Before you buy a new pug puppy, get the animal examined with a veterinary doctor. A trained eye can spot many problems that a non-trained eye could not. With good breeders, the complete medical history of the animal will be available. You can request the documents to be verified by the doctor. Choose the pug only after the doctor's nod.
