By Taron Fox

Many dog owners spoil their dogs, pampering them and treating them like children. Spoiling your dog and letting any dominant behavior go unchecked could give your dog the signal that he is in command and that its ok to act as he feels, including acting aggressively, your dog will see himself as the dominant leader and will act aggressively to show his superiority.

Dog aggression is common on many levels it can range from the dog trying to dominate and acting aggressively towards members of your family, to acting aggressively toward other dogs and animals when he has opportunity to mix with them, such as walking in parks.

In the worst case scenario an aggressive dog could harm or even kill a person or another dog, a dog aggressive to other dogs needs to be taken into hand just as much as a dog that is aggressive to humans.

The best course of action to take is to teach him obedience training. Most cases of dog aggression are due to lack of training and care, spoiled unchecked behavior is not caring for your dog, training him to behave correctly and responsibly is. There are many techniques that will teach your dog-good behavior and curb any aggressive tendencies that he may have.
