Most of us love our dogs and want to feed them safe dog food. We love our pets and happily accept the serious responsibility of caring for them. Unfortunately, many dog owners are unknowingly killing their pets. Bad dog food is common and any caring pet owner must seek an alternative to commercially-available products.
We wrongly assume that the food we find in grocery stores, department stores and pet shops is safe. Dog food, generally, is actually a repulsive and unhealthy mish-mash of absolutely ghastly ingredients, peppered with carcinogenic additives.
Did you know that thousands upon thousands of pounds of dead animal corpses are ground into the dog food supply every year. That bag of dog food in your pantry may very well contain the rendered flesh of road kill, euthanized pets, and other dead animals. Your dog isn't eating a healthy blend of high-quality ingredients, he or she is actually consuming the carcasses of diseased animals.
That's just the beginning. What you might have thought was a safe food may also contain numerous poisons. Researchers have found measurable quantities of the poisons used to put the previously-mentioned animals "to sleep" in commercial dog food products. Dog food companies also utilizes a wild combination of chemicals and additives--many of which have been banned from the human food supply because they are known to encourage death and disease.
There are chemicals, plastics, inorganic waste, animal feces, filler, dangerous phony proteins and more in commercial dog foods. Most well-intended pet owners, however, don't realize that they aren't using safe dog food. They wrongly assume that the products are sufficiently regulated and that they are created by companies who are completely dedicated to the health of the loving dogs who consume them.
As a result, we notice shorter lifespans and increased incidents of illnesses in our dogs. The food upon which they rely is killing them.
This creates an urgent need for all pet owners who are aware of the disgusting dog food manufacturing process to find an alternative to bad dog food. One highly recommended alternative to commercial products is the use of homemade food. Recipes are available that can help responsible dog owners to supply their beloved pets with an easy-to-make, affordable and safe dog food.
