A Dog Supplement Put the "Spring Back in My Step"

By Jackie Jean Dixon

My name is Brandi and I'm a 15 year old English Setter. For those of you who are wondering...that's 105 in human years! I'd like to share my personal story about a wellness product that has added "spring to my step"!

Last year my humans began to have sad faces every time they were near me and I noticed they were whispering whenever I was nearby. I love to sneak off to their closet to take naps and it was during a Monday nap when I was almost snoozing that I overheard them talking. I remember their conversation quite well and what I heard made me raise an ear in concern. They were talking about how hard it had become for me to lay down, get up or come up the stairs in able to go outside.

Now, I must say, I had noticed myself that the steps were becoming a major problem and in fact, I was waiting longer and longer to make that journey to go outside. I am embarrassed to say that I had even starting barking and barking at the bottom of the first step until my humans would come and help by "pushing " me and at times totally carrying me up and down those darn steps.

Can you imagine how that made me feel! Now, my humans love me dearly but I also heard them talking about what they may have to decide upon if I became unable to get around any longer. Geez! What's an old dog to do?

One morning as I struggled to get up and slowly go into the kitchen for my breakfast, I was surprised to see my human mom singing and dancing around and around. "Brandi, wait until you taste this super-duper stuff! Let's give it a try!"

I'd heard all of this before and had tried so many other things that I really didn't have any hope for this one either. I only had to lap up less than 1 liquid ounce and it had to be better than those awful pills I'd taken in the past. I must say that the taste was yummy and the pats on my head weren't bad either.

I kept up my new "supplement" routine for several days and to my canine amazement, I not only stopped barking for help in descending and ascending the steps, I also started joining in playtime with my sister Shepherd, Cocoa. Cocoa had been so irritating lately as she is much younger and playful than I am and wouldn't leave me alone to sleep. Can you imagine Cocoa's surprise when I actually ran after her and teased her into playing with me by chasing her around the room! My owners were laughing at my ability to put her in her place again!

I must include one last thing and that is that I am now a "Star" as the supplement company asked to include my story and picture in their newest Animal Health Product Brochure. I am proud to say that I am the "senior" dog in the brochure! But, the best thing is seeing the smiles on my human faces again and knowing that they can now spend their time loving me and not worrying so much.

I must hurry and tell all of my friends about this amazing Animal Hip and Joint Product...even that darn cat that lives next door!
