By Beverly Maniago

They are all preppy, cool, sexy, and vibrant-but is there anything for the male dogs? Surely, if you have this kind of breed with you, looking for what to give him for clothing can be quite a challenge. It seems that you have very limited choices.

However, if you will just learn to scour the World Wide Web, check your local pet store, or even come up with your own design, you will soon discover that there are infinite possibilities for clothing male dogs.

What should he wear?

Sleeveless dog shirt. You can show the world the muscles on the legs, which have been well toned with excessive jogging in the park or on the treadmill. Surely, even human girls will go ga-ga over him. You can even make the entire outfit a lot cooler when you pair it with doggie sunglasses.

Camouflage prints. When your dog starts to wear that camouflage uniform, you will definitely know who is in command. These types of prints never fail to inform the rest of the pack who is the leader. Moreover, there are a variety of camouflage sets that you can choose from: pants, jeans, harnesses, shirts, and even hoodies.

Sweatshirts. To make sure that he is always in style and prepared to meet their female counterparts even when on the run or outside walk, don him with a plain or printed sweatshirt. They are made of comfortable materials which will also keep your dog cool throughout exercise.

Hoodies. Your dog doesn't have to come from the Bronx to sport a hoody. This masculine form of dog clothing is not just visually appealing and fashionable, but it can also protect your dog against the cold or rainy weather. There are also plenty of designs that you can pick, so you can always choose one that you think will represent the main personality of your male pooch.

Tuxedoes. Tuxedoes are the best choice if you are talking about formal affairs, such as weddings, prom nights, balls, and birthday parties. You can go for the two- or three-piece piece suit, complete with the bow tie. If you want to stick with something truly formal, black is the most ideal. White, on the other hand, denotes complete class and elegance. If you want your male dog to appear contemporary, light shades of blue and pink will do.

Sports Wear. Increase the fan base of your favorite basketball or baseball team through jerseys specifically made for male dogs. You can even have it personalized, perhaps sewing the number of your favorite player on the back of the shirt.

Dog fashion is not just for girls. There is a huge variety of male inspired dog clothes available. Puppia, one of the leading dog clothing labels in the world, has come up with a comprehensive line to help male dogs look fabulous, yet retain their masculinity.
