Teaching your puppy to stop biting is very important. Puppies that are not taught to stop biting can grow with this behavior which can be dangerous as adult dogs to you, family members and guests.

Buying lots of chewing toys for your puppy will be helpful to keep your puppy from chewing on other things as well such as furniture and rugs. Another method that is also used to stop your puppies biting problem is by using an orange peel.
Puppies do not like the taste of orange peels, so you could place and orange peel on your hand and when your puppy starts to bite on the peel it will not like the taste and learn to stop biting that area.
Also, make sure your puppy is active. Many puppies have biting problems because they are bored, stressed or are trying to get your attention. A puppy requires lots of time and love so make sure you play with your puppy daily and take it out for walks as well.
